Arts@Renaissance presents Third Rail Projects’ Then She Fell, a new, full-length, immersive theater experience located inside the former outpatient building of what was once the Greenpoint Hospital in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Premiering October 6th, 2012, and performed for only 15 audience members per show.

In this fully immersive, multi-sensory experience, audience members explore a dreamlike world where every alcove and corridor of the space has been transformed. Inspired by the site’s history and the life and writings of Lewis Carroll, Then She Fell is designed to create an ‘Alice-like’ experience for audience members, who get to discover hidden scenes, encounter performers one-on-one, unearth clues to illuminate a shrouded history, use skeleton keys to gain access to guarded secrets, and imbibe elixirs custom designed by some of NYC’s foremost mixologists and crafted from hand-selected champagnes, teas, wines, herbs and infusions.

To bring this performance space to life, we need your help! We need to raise $4,500 to buy props, set pieces, and ephemera to transform 18 rooms of this former hospital space into an ongoing series of lushly designed installation and performance environments.

Third Rail Projects is a Bessie Award-winning, multi-disciplinary performance company led by Artistic Directors Zach Morris, Tom Pearson, and Jennine Willett. We makes site-specific performances in public spaces, dance/theater works, gallery art installations, immersive experiences, and we are the creators of the Lower East Side’s critically acclaimed Steampunk Haunted House.

Then She Fell is our most ambitious project to date. We are combining all of the media we work in: theater, dance, site-specific performance, immersive experiences, and art installation in order to self-produce this unique performance event. We are excited to collaborate with an incredible group of artists: performers Elizabeth Carena, Alberto Denis, Rebekah Morin, Tara O’Con, Marissa Nielsen-Pincus, and Zoe Scheiber; Production Manager/Event Producer Debra Stunich; Sound Designer and Composer Sean Hagerty; Environment & Interactive Design Consultant Christopher Cummings; Costume Designer Karen Young; Lighting Design Consultant Kryssy Wright; Beverage Consultant Sarah Sutel; Assistant Stage Manager and Performer Stacie C. Fields; and Collaborating Musicians Brian Olin and Isaiah Singer.
